David Cooperrider is the Fairmount Minerals Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. Cooperrider is past Chair of the National Academy of Management's OD Division and has lectured and taught at Harvard, Stanford, University of Chicago, and Katholieke University in Belgium, MIT, University of Michigan, Cambridge and the Drucker School of Management. David is founder and Chair of the Fowler Center for Sustainable Value. He has served as advisor to several country Presidents and with executives in a wide variety of organizations including the Boeing Corporation, Fairmount Minerals, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, McKinsey, Parker, Sherwin Williams, Dealer Tire, PWC, and Wal-Mart. He has been published in journals such as Organization and Environment, Human Relations, Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Management Inquiry, The OD Practitioner and his work has been covered by The New York Times, Forbes , NPR, Science, Fast Company, Fortune, Christian Science Monitor, Washington Post, Biz Ed and many others. He has worked on 15 books and authored over 50 articles. Among his many awards, he was recently awarded the Peter F. Drucker Distinguished Fellow.


Lindsey N. Godwin is an Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business at Morehead State University. Her work has appeared in a variety of academic and practitioner outlets, including: The Oxford Handbook of Positive Organizational Scholarship , Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Training & Management Development Methods and many others. Active in the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) community, she is also a knowledge manager for the AI Commons (appreciativeinquiry.case.edu), the largest open-source resource space for Appreciative Inquiry in the world. In collaboration with David Cooperrider, she designed and co-facilitates a series of online experiential workshops that focus on teaching the foundations of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) to people across the globe.
