Herefordshire Buses : From OBs to Optares
Bus services in Herefordshire were traditionally focused on the county's market towns of Kington, Ledbury, Leominster, Ross-on-Wye and Hereford itself. The buses would carry people in to town for the local market day and children from the outlying villages into school as well as carrying agricultural workers for events such as the harvest. In this book, Martin Perry takes a look at the buses of Herefordshire over fifty years, from the 1960s through to the present day and from the Bedford OB to the Optare vehicles of today.
