LAURIE J. COUSSEAU has more than 30 years of experience as an educator working in public school districts, independent schools, and Amherst College. She holds a master's degree in reading education and is certified by the International Dyslexia Association. She is an accredited training fellow with the Orton-Gillingham Academy and was an adjunct professor at Bay Path University. She owns Green River Literacy and Learning Center, which supports individuals with language-based learning disabilities in the Berkshires. This is her first book for Scholastic. RHONDA GRAFF is an educator with more than 30 years of teaching experience. She is a Fellow-In-Training with the Orton-Gillingham Academy, a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, and a Structured Literacy/ Dyslexia Interventionist (International Dyslexia Association).
She is the founder of Graff Learning, LLC, a tutoring center in New Jersey. Graff has authored several books for Scholastic including her most recent publications: Decodable Cards: Short Vowels & More, Decodable Cards: Long Vowels & More, and Decodable Cards: Advanced Phonics Concepts .
