Jeff Arnold was born and raised in Northern VA and attended Geneva College where he received a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration and Accounting (1982). He received his Masters of Divinity Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston. He has completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Church Service: He has served churches in Pittsburgh Philadelphia Boston and the Pocono Mountains in a range of positions including youth ministry founding pastor of a new church associate and senior pastor.

He is currently the senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Beaver PA just north of Pittsburgh. Denominational Experience: Jeff has been involved in the Presbyterian Church USA on a number of levels. At the presbytery level he serves on various committees and started an evangelical network group that has brought leadership and energy to the presbytery and become a pattern for similar network groups to be formed all across the country. At the national level he has been a leader within the Confessing Church Movement (1 200 congregations about 600 000 members). Most recently he and two other pastors co-authored and sent to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA the eLINK” overture which seeks to bridge the impasse over human sexuality issues. Mission Experience: Jeff has been involved in developing and leading short-term mission experiences and long-term mission partnerships in places like Poland Romania Kenya Haiti Baltimore (MD) and various rural settings in America. Family: He was married in 1986 to Karen and they have three children: Brett (19); Heather (17); and Hannah (14). They were foster parents to four children.

Karen has her Masters in Religious Education degree from Gordon-Conwell Seminary Publishing: He has authored eight books including recently re-released The Big Book on Small Groups ” and Small Group Outreach” (InterVarsity Press) Seven Traits of Healthy Leaders” and What We Believe” (Pilgrimage/NavPress) and Starting Small Groups in Your Church” (Abingdon Press). Other books: Discovering the Bible for Yourself” (IVP); Small Group Starter Kit” (IVP); Seven Tools for Effective Groups” (NavPress). Speaking: He has done small group consulting and seminars with many congregations was a presenter with Pilgrimage Training Group for eight years and taught classes at various levels. He is adjunct faculty at Biblical Theological Seminary near Philadelphia having taught courses in both their LEAD (non-traditional) M.Div. and traditional M.Div. and D.

Min. tracks. He is also adjunct faculty at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster PA. Other: He is on the Board of Advisors of Geneva College in Beaver Falls PA and in 1998 was a participant in the Thompson Scholar Program at Columbia Theological Seminary Decatur GA. Jeff is a trained Church Consultant through Church Central.
