Skillful, onomatopoeic verse aptly summons the "beat, beat, beat" of wings, "chop, chop, chop" of helicopter blades, and "drip, drip, drop" of water. Fedele's smudgy fire and smoke-filled artwork, meanwhile, has a frenzied quality that communicates the urgency of the situation.
