Doug MacGregor has been an artist, illustrator, writer and cartoonist for over 45 years working for newspapers and print publications across the US. A native of Binghamton, NY, Doug graduated from Syracuse University and holds a BFA in Illustration. Doug has lived in SW Florida since 1988 and enjoys the humor and unique opportunities living in paradise provides. Doug currently volunteers in the Arts in Healthcare program at Lee Health bringing art, music and the expressive arts to its patients. He also visits schools and libraries teaching cartooning to children of all ages. Doug has also published six children's books including his most recent, The Squonk, Turtellini's Amazing Sky-High Adventures and Get Creative, Turn On The Bright Side Of Your Brain.
