To her own people, the America of 2028 has become a barren wasteland of corruption and tyranny. Cameras line the streets, separatists are hunted like dogs, and evil rules in the hearts of men. While most blindly accept this new world, a few choose freedom over chains, surviving in wilderness enclaves as fugitives from the State. But these two worlds cannot coexist for long. A young man named Kristian, an escaped felon, a beautiful reporter, a nuclear physicist, and an old man must work together or they will die alone when these worlds collide in an epic struggle for survival.
