The Gone is a fast-paced novel written in the time of the convergence of Biblical prophecy and current events as we rapidly move to the end of time. The novel highlights the lives of several people during the first few years of what is referred to as the seven-year tribulation time in the book of Revelations. The end-time saints are mentioned throughout the book of Revelations and this story is a story of few of those people. The events are based on the author's interpretation of where we are in Bible prophecy. The United States is the most powerful nation in the world at the time of this writing, but nowhere in scripture is the United States shown as being a major player in the end-time Biblical events.
