Potentially could do a tie in with the release of Spider-Man: Beyond of the Spider-Verse (which also features a young male protagonist of color and is also a Spider-Man movie), though the final release date hasn't been announced yet. Partner with Jason's favorite Filipino restaurant or food cart to promote the book. There may be potential to distribute coupons or discounts from these food places via galleys or pre-order bonuses. Partner with the Filipino American Association of Portland & Vicinity and the Pacific Islander/Asian & Asian-American Student Center at Portland State to spread awareness of Jason and his new book. Create a unique galley kit to create a more personal attachment to the book.
Include coupons for a Filipino food cart or restaurant, stickers of steaming Filipino food, and recipe cards for adobo/other food mentioned from Jason's own family recipes.
