When not researching methods of using nature to explode, kill and destroy, Michelle volunteers as a naturalist for the Marine Science Center, NW Marine Center, and is a member of the Humane World for Animals National Animal Rescue Team. After nearly four decades working in Alaska as a wildlife biologist, wetland scientist, and ecologist, her voice is one of authenticity in science-based thrillers.
