A sweet tribute to the author's late grandmother. Written by Irene Jonas who is from Clyde River. She graduated from the Nunavut Teacher Education Program through the Nunavut Arctic College. Themes of multi-generational connections (main character spends lots of time with her grandmother while her parents are at work). We also get to see the passing of traditional knowledge/skills and values. For example, the main character helps her grandmother sew parkas and repurposes old objects to create toys instead of buying new things. Explores roles of maternal family members and how someone can be a mother, sister, and grandmother all in one.
