Karen Joy Palmerini is a literacy coach and a reading specialist for a school district on Long Island. She lives in Mount Sinai, New York with her husband Nazz, and college-aged daughters Alexa and Alana. Her love of animals is obvious as she has five cats, one bird, numerous fish and two frogs. She loves to read, cook and entertain. She is passionate about traveling and has visited the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, numerous states and many landmarks in the United States. An ongoing dream is to be able to share her books with many different cultures to show how sharing stories are critical to children's literacy growth and developing lasting relationships and memories with loved ones. Wednesdays with Gammy: The Anticipation, is her first book.
