The author, Anthony D. Amaker, is an African American raised in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. He grew up during the height of the civil rights era and has taken a special forum to the causes of the African American struggles. He is now working on matters of self-esteem and development for Black children because they are truly our future. He has grown up with a strong mindset to foster ambition, goals, and self-worth in all the children that he encounters. He has been raised in a big family and believes highly in the process of family values. He hopes to spread s sense of joy with every book that's dedicated to the children of all ethnicity.
