Peter Pan
Sir James Matthew Barrie (1860-1937) was a Scottish playwright and novelist renowned for his enduring creation, Peter Pan . His works often explored themes of childhood and the power of imagination. Barrie's legacy endures his significant impact on children's literature and theatre. Geraldine McCaughrean is the author of more than 170 children's books, including Peter Pan in Scarlet , the official sequel to Peter Pan commissioned by Great Ormond Street Hospital, the holder of Peter Pan's copyright. She has received the Carnegie Medal twice as well as winning the Michael L. Printz Award.
