March Avery March Avery lives and works in New York. John Yau John Yau has published books of poetry, fiction and criticism. Recent poetry publications include Further Adventures in Monochrome and the Egyptian Sonnets . He has written monographs on Catherine Murphy, Richard Artschwager, AR Penck, Jasper Johns and Andy Warhol. In 1999, Yau started Black Square Editions, a small press devoted to poetry, fiction, translation and criticism, and he is a Professor of Critical Studies at Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University).
