Born 1952 in Cologne, studied conceptual art in 1975 and 1976 atthe California Institute of the Arts and between 1977 and 1982 heoccasionally studied philosophy, art history and Egyptian studiesat the University of Cologne. He has undertaken long journeysthrough the South Seas, the Caribbean, North and Central America,Asia, North Africa and the Middle East. In 1992 he was one of thefounding professors for media art at the Karlsruhe University of Artand Design (HfG), and since 1999 he has been a tenured professorfor media art at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts.Born in Frankfurt am Main and studied acting from 1994 to 1998 at theOtto Falckenberg School in Munich. After her training she was engagedat the Zurich Schauspielhaus. From there she went to the Baracke atthe Deutsches Theater Berlin, and then to the ensemble at Schaubü hneBerlin. She also appeared as a guest performer at Volksbü hne Berlin,Schauspielhaus Bochum, and Schauspiel Frankfurt. In 2003 she joinedthe ensemble of Dieter Dorn at the Bavarian State Theater.
Since2009 she has been at Thalia Theater Hamburg.Born in 1954 in Munich. He studied history, theatre studies, andmedicine, and gained doctorates in history in 1977 and medicine in1982. From 1976 he published in newspapers and magazines, includingSü ddeutsche Zeitung and the music magazine Spex. His first novel,Irre (Insane), a story about psychiatry, was published in 1983. Hiswriting was decisively influenced by techno and house music, and heaccompanied well-known DJs like Westbam and Sven Vä th on tourand wrote a number of widely discussed texts about techno and DJculture.
