Dejian Shen is Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Hohai University. His research interests include * Assessment, control, and repair of early-age cracks in reinforced concrete structures * Seismic performance and design method for prefabricated construction * FRP technology for repairing damaged and corroded reinforced concrete structures * Quantum chemical simulation, molecular dynamics simulation, and multiscale simulation for concrete. Dr. Xin Wang is Postdoctoral Researcher at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Hohai University. With a Ph.D. from Hohai University, he has dedicated his career to unraveling the mysteries of construction materials and structures.


Driven by a deep curiosity, he has published several high-level research papers on the hydration mechanisms and properties of tricalcium silicate. Through his work, he aims to make complex scientific concepts accessible to a wider audience.
