Bus services in Herefordshire were traditionally focused on the county's market towns of Kington, Ledbury, Leominster, Ross-on-Wye and Hereford itself. The buses would carry people in to town for the local market day and children from the outlying villages into school as well as carrying agricultural workers for events such as the harvest.
