Dr. Dan Zhao is a tenured professor and Director of Master Engineering Studies in the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He graduated from the University of Cambridge and the University of Manchester with a PhD and Master degree in 2009 and 2004, respectively. Currently, he is the chief editor of International Journal of Aerospace Engineering; associated editor of 5 archived sci-indexed journals, such as AIAA Journal, Aerospace Science and Technology, Journal of the Royal Society of New Zealand, J. LowFreq. Noise, Vib. Act. Control, Progress in Aerospace Sciences.


His research interests and experience include Aeroacoustics, Aerodynamics, Energy Harvesting, passive and active control, and Combustion and Propulsion. Dr. Nuomin Han obtained her Bachelor and PhD degrees from National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2014 and 2017, respectively. Dr. Ernest S. C. Goh graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a PhD degree in 2016. He is currently working in the University of British Columbia-Okanagan Campus.


His research interests and experience include numerical simulation and wind tunnel testing of wind turbines. Dr. John Edward Cater graduated from Monash University, Australia, with a PhD in 2003. He later worked in Aerospace Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London, from 2004 to 2008, then joined the University of Auckland in New Zealand. His research includes studying a variety of fluid flows and problems in aeroacoustics. Dr. Arne Reinecke obtained his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2018. His PhD project is developing a modified Beddoes-Leishman Dynamic stall model for wind turbine applications.


He is currently working as an RD engineer in Bertrandt Group in Germany.
