Publishing rationale* The evidence-informed movement is big at the moment and students and practitioners are increasingly expected to apply research findings to their practice* This is both topical and timely as it will help them to understand why and how to do evidence-informed practice* It will be relevant across applied courses and so it should sell in good numbers* The authors are based at Birmingham which has a great reputation in applied research* Nicki did an exemplary job leading on The Ethics of Care book and Nathan has co-authored a related text for Palgrave. I trust them to do an excellent job with thisUnique selling point: a much stronger practice focus (including case studies, figures and diagrams) and more critical approach in comparison with competitors.
