Movement Disorders, eg Parkinson's, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, are some of the most common but hardest to definitively diagnose conditions seen by the neurologist. This proposal is for a spin-off of Neurological Differential Diagnosis to extend the franchise of this book. It will follow the same pattern of highlighting common and serious conditions first, and use the same systems of icons (albeit in one colour) we will develop for the 2nd edition of the parent text. This first franchise extension will allow for deeper exploration of issues specific to movement disorders and so will be of use to both the experienced and trainee neurologist who wishes to specialize in movement disorders.
