Datta is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in benign gynaecology, colposcopy, and ultrasound. She was awarded the RCOG Edgar Gentilli Prize and the BMA Helen Lawson award for her research in ovarian cancer. She has a passion for teaching, having obtained a Masters in Clinical Education with merit and was appointed Associate Clinical Dean at King's College Medical School.
Tahir Mahmood has worked as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist NHS Fife since 1990, has served as Vice President Standards Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist, UK (RCOG), and as President European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG). Currently he chairs the Quality Assurance Committee of the EBCOG Examination for European Fellowships in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
