The new edition of this leading casebook covers recent developments, such as the controversy over registration of disparaging and vulgar marks (Tam, Brunetti) and generic .com marks (Booking.com), expressive uses of trademarks, and trademarks on the internet. The domain names chapter has been substantially revised. Appendix A has been fully updated to incorporate the Trademark Modernization Act. Throughout the chapters, the editors have written provocative questions and problems to stimulate classroom discussion. As with the sixth edition, the seventh edition will be available in a looseleaf version for $75.
An updated teachers manual will also be available for professors and will include color versions of images printed in the casebook. There is also a set of 500+ PowerPoint slides available upon adoption. If you are a professor using this book for a class, please contact Rachael Meier at remeier@cap-press.com to request your slides.
