Julia Onslow-Cole is a partner, legal markets leader and head of global immigration at PwC Legal. Julia leads the largest immigration network of its kind, comprising of more than 1200 experts in PwC offices in over 154 countries.The rapidly expanding practice caters to global corporates across a range of industries, private individuals and education establishments, as well as distinct projects including crisis management and innovative technology-based pre-travel assessments. Julia also liaises with Governments overseas and during the past year has had meetings with Governments in Australia, Europe and the Caribbean.With over 25 years' experience, Julia is regarded as the UK's "Experts Expert" (Legal Business) and has been the recipient of several nominations and awards, including most recently Woman of the year: Business Growth at the Citywealth Power Women Awards 2016.Julia is also chair of London First's working party on immigration representing business and the education sector. She is chair of the IBA's human rights institute charitable trust and former director of the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association. Julia is vice chair of the IBA's global employment institute.Julia is a member of the UK Association for European Law; a fellow of the Society for Advanced Legal Studies; an expert to the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner; an associate member of the American Immigration Lawyers' Association; and a former member of the government's advisory board on naturalisation and integration. Julia is also a board member of the Permits Foundation and an expert to the World Bank's Immigration Project.
