The life story of a polymath who has lots of interests and a number of skills gathered through education and life experience in several civilian and military sectors.From early experience in the Territory of Hawaii in December 1941 to the contemporary world of 2011, Dr. Thompson relates the eras of his life growing up, getting "over-edu-ma-cated" (as his father called it), serving the U.S. Navy for over 22 years, serving his God as a Christian for over 40 years and minister for over 35 years, and living life as the father of four children and husband (and best friend) of his wife, Sandy.
