Simms Taback won a Caldecott Honor Award for There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly and the Caldecott Medal for Joseph Had a Little Overcoat. He has also produced award-winning titles such as Peek-a-Boo, Who? (Scholastic Parent & Child Best Book of the Year) and Simms Taback's Big Book of Words (Parenting and Child magazines Best Book of the Year, and a Parents' Choice Gold Award winner).
