Professor Helen Xanthaki is the Academic Director of the Sir William Dale Centre for Legislative Studies at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies of the School of Advanced Study of the University of London. Helen's expertise is legislative drafting, especially common, civil, comparative and EU drafting; and law reform, especially in the area of EU criminal law. Helen has published extensively in legislative drafting and EU criminal law. She is a member of the Board of the Statute Law Society, and the International Association for Legislation. She is a member of the editorial Board of Legisprudence, the European Journal of Law Reform, and of the book series on International Crime, Hart Publishers. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Law, Language and Interdisciplinary Practice. Helen has served as a consultant in law reform and legislative drafting in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
