Wu Jie was born in the capital of Taiwan, Taipei. She got her university degree from New Zealand and master's degree from England, and worked for well-known English media in Taiwan and China for over 13 years. She has been running her own media firm called Wu Jie Global Media for over 4 years. Wu Jie has written two books: "Taiwan Zan!" and "Swim to That Dream!", in Chinese, and compiled them in English. She has also written an English novel called "A Fire Horse from Taiwan and Princess Manchuria from China, which took her 16 years to finish.
