Jodell Lee get his first taste of big-time racing success, running in such stock car shrines as Darlington and on the new track at Daytona, all at a time when the sport is quickly making the transition form the hills and backwoods in places like North Wilkesboro and Martinsville to the gleaming new super-speedways. Jodell must juggle his commitment to racing with the new family he has begun.
