This book is about what happens when you start believing in yourself and how it doesn't matter how old you are when you finally start doing it. This little book chronicles events between September 2009 and March 2014, although for ease events are compressed slightly. Everything I have written either actually happened or was something that I honestly thought at the time. So why have I written down what happened during this four and a half year period? This is my spiritual journey. Although I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Elizabeth Gilbert and her book Eat Pray Love, this little book is not like that one. My spiritual journey began when I broke up with my boyfriend after years of a miserable for both of us relationship and threw myself into writing women's erotica, getting fit and generally finding out that life could be quite fun after all. Then I met the big love of my life and a full on tripped out spiritual awakening was triggered. But you can't rush these things and my journey took its time, exploring many paths and exploding into all areas and every aspect of my life until I was totally transformed.

Or at least, that's how I see it. I think everyone else just thinks I went a bit dippy for a while. As I said, this isn't Eat Pray Love. I didn't go travelling. I went to work, I read books, I meditated, I did all the normal stuff of life, whilst at the same time my mind, heart and soul were turned inside out and upside down. Oh, and I wrote it all down. Here it is.
