Mayhem and a Midnight Miracle February 1971 is the setting for this factual fairytale of a young couple's frigid frightening first fling following the festivities of their nuptials. A witty predestined parable finds the newlywed High School seniors pitted against a fatalistic foray of mishaps, and misfortunes in the middle of a major mid Michigan snowstorm. And the wonder of an amazing divine intervention that saves them from the deadly mayhem and forever transforms their destiny. Tim Witz grew up in the 50's in the small suburban town of Taylor Michigan, which is situated roughly fifteen miles southwest of Detroit. He is the middle child of five sons reared and raised by his hard working parents, Vern and Barbara Witz. Like many raised by the Greatest Generation, Tim was taught the values of hard work and money and instilled with Christian values. Praying was a part of his regimented young life, although, like many of us, his prayers weren't always answered. He grew up quick, maybe too quick, and he fell in love.
He married and had children at an early age. Necessity being life's greatest invention, he started his first corporation at the age of twenty-six. Self-supporting he still works today at his own business, some thirty-five years later. He is the father of five and grandfather to eight. He has been a successful athlete and coach and was a 2008 inductee into the City of Taylor Michigan's Sports and Recreation Hall of Fame. He felt compelled to write this story woven with spiritual support and inspiration.
