The war between Heaven and Hell is over. or is it? Rhea escapes Hell and returns to Medius, the land of the living. Together with an unusual pair of traveling companions-- a friendly Demon named Buwaro and a warrior Angel named Kieri-- the three set out on a quest to reunite Kieri with her lost brother. Unfortunately, Medius is not the most welcoming place for refugees from the afterlife. The trio must face brutish bandits, a perilous frozen river, questionable fashion, and the secret history of The Ring of the Slightly Damned's former inhabitants. Amidst these challenges, Buwaro and Kieri begin to see each other in a different light. Can their new love overcome the bad blood between their feuding families?.
