A Caw Caw Caw Kind of Day is about optimism and survival. An awkward, young raven named Gibson finds himself on a mission to save all the birds and animals from the hazards of trash. Gibson is inquisitive, clumsy and likes to look for shiny treasures. But when he finds his best friend Maggie the hermit crab on the beach with trash on her head he begins to realize the consequences of the glittery garbage he likes. When Hopkins the seagull arrives to warn him of the dangers of trash, Gibson sets off on a journey to warn his family and friends. The young raven tries to enlist help from his grandmother and the community of ravens, and is met with doubt and skepticism. But finding a family member entangled in trash makes him realize he needs their help. He can't fix the problem on his own.
