Elizabeth Weiss is a mother of two young children whom she had on her own. She is an active member of the Single Mothers by Choice (SMC) organization and enjoys the exchange of camaraderie, guidance, and support of all women, whichever path they follow. She has navigated thus far in her journey as a single mom answering questions, proactively and reactively, from her neighborhood, family, care providers, and business communities with candor and thoughtfulness. She hopes her approach will help other women feel supported and empowered on the options that may be available to them. After struggling to find a book with the messages she hoped to convey to her children, Ms. Weiss created Mommy and Me - How I Came to Be to capture each word and concept she carefully selected to provide the positive, loving, and straight forward education she conveyed to her children from a very young age. She hopes this book helps others start their own conversations.Ms.
