Stephen Weiner attended Carleton College and graduated from Stanford University. A journalist and a champion of mental health issues, he was publisher of "The Suspicious Humanist: A Journal of the Arts & Opinion." His articles and essays have appeared in "Classics of Community Psychiatry", "The Oxford Handbook of Psychiatric Ethics", and "Philosophy, Psychiatry and Psychology.".
