Jackie Watson is the founder and executive director of a nationally recognized scholarship pageant organization, USA National Miss. She is an award-winning director and author of Winning the Crown. Jackie is a first generation American, born the daughter of parents who immigrated from Cuba fleeing the communist regime in the late 1960s. Growing up in a multi-lingual household, Jackie developed a love of words and languages, and is fluent in Spanish, English and French. Despite not completing her bachelor's degree due to the death of her father, through hard work and dedication she was able to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a news reporter. As a professional journalist, she has written for many newspapers, magazines and online publications, as well as having been on assignment for two national press organizations: Associated Press and Baptist Press. Her devotion to building a scholarship program that empowers young women and provide them with college scholarships has been recognized extensively by many organizations. Jackie has been the recipient of the Leading Ladies Spirit of Excellence Award, and the Prestige Director Award presented by the Prestige Pageantry Awards organization.

In addition, she was awarded the #1 Best Director in America accolade from The Pageant Planet, and was recognized as one of the Top 5 Best Directors in pageantry by American Model and Pageant Magazine. Jackie is proud to have been a stay at home mom while her two children, Kayla and Jacob, were young. Home and family is where her heart is, and she is happily married to her husband Kyle. Her family of six, which includes her two fur babies Lilly and Toby, is her first love and priority. As a devout Christian, Jackie enjoys encouraging young women with words of positivity and kindness.
