When the lives of a ten year old girl, and her parents hang in the balance, they call upon Theodore Hammond, part time bodyguard and part time private investigator. In the course of trying to learn the identity of the little girl's tormentor, Theodore unravels a mystery going back twenty years or more. By the time Theodore solves that mystery, the little girl and her mother have fallen into the clutches of a very evil man. Theodore can solve the mystery, but can he save the girl?.
