Author Michael Ward is a member of Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals. They are releasing a new album Spring 2016 and will be touring throughout the summer to support the album. Mike and The Bike characters were used throughout the state of Virginia as part of the educational outreach program to support the 2015 UCI World Championship Road Race, September 2015. This event was viewed internationally by over 60 million people and over 500,000 at the event itself. Mike and The Bike had a visible online and event presence. Mike and The Bike characters and content creation support numerous bike events and organizations around the country including the Tour of Utah and Safe Routes for Schools. Publisher has working relationship with Shape America to promote, create and support active lifestyles curriculums and content for physical education teachers around the country. Event based marketing at local and regional bike and running events will support new book release.
