Daniel Walsh, born in San Francisco in 1941. attended Catholic schools, was graduated from Riordan High School and attended City College, College of Marin, and Santa Rosa Junior College. He was in the woodworking business, making twisted hand rails, and then worked for the City of San Francisco, as carpenter, plumber and foreman. He retired in 2009, and now lives in Santa Rosa, California. He has two daughters, a step daughter, and four grandchildren.
