Rebecca was born in Provo, Utah, and raised in the Provo-Orem area, where she attended Orem High School, until she met her husband.She currently lives in Utah with her husband. She ran a daycare center for fifteen years, and taught fourteen years of preschool in her home.Rebecca's poems are inspired by her love of music, love of the outdoors, and from all her life experiences. Her love of music has inspired many of her poems to flow onto paper.She and her husband have four children, thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. They raised their kids with the love of nature and all its wonders. They love to hunt, boat, and camp.

She and her husband live for their family. Each year they spend a week with their grandchildren. Scrap booking, playing games, sitting around a campfire telling stories. They hope that their grandchildren and great grandchildren may enjoy all that they have had to enjoy during their lifetime.
