Audrey Vernick is the author of over twenty books for young readers, including Unlike Other Monsters , Is Your Buffalo Ready for Kindergarten? , and First Grade Dropout , as well as Bob, Not Bob! and Dear Substitute , which she co-wrote with Liz Garton Scanlon.
