A Re-Interpretation of the Later Bronze Age Metalwork Hoards of Essex and Kent
This report re-examines the late Bronze Age hoards, loking at their internal composition, artefact categories, weight ranges, evidence of wear, and metalworking processes. Detailed examination and comparison of 'Carp's Tongue hoards and Broadward hoards reveals them to be two ends of the same continuum rather than completely separate phenomena. Conclusions discuss the findings in a wider British and northern French context.
