Seang Lin Tan is the James Edmund Dodds Professor and Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, McGill University, and Obstetrician and Gynecologist-in-Chief of the McGill University Health Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Dr. Tan is an internationally recognized infertility expert who has published six books and over 200 original scientific papers and review articles, and made over 200 research presentations. He has been on the editorial board of nine medical journals and is a member of the FIGO Expert Advisory Panels on Reproductive Medicine and Ultrasound. He received the Resolve Award (1999) from the National Infertility Association of the United States, was the John Collins lecturer at the 2001 CFAS meeting, and was awarded the Howard Eddey Gold Medal by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the MRCOG Gold Medal by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the United Kingdom. Togas Tulandi is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Milton Leong Chair in Reproductive Medicine, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The author or coauthor of over 200 journal articles, as well as more than 200 scientific presentations, book chapters, and books, he sits on the editorial boards of ten medical journals. A member of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, among many other organizations, he is an internationally known reproductive/endoscopic surgeon and he has received numerous awards and prize papers, including the IFFS Anniversary Recognition Award for significant contributions in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine (1998).
