Rev. Peter Tremblay shares an expanded version of his sermon series on the Apostle Paul's letter from prison to the Ephesians. This work is a short commentary opening up to the reader the main theme of this important New Testament letter; the equality, the oneness, the bringing together of people of Jew and Gentile believer into one New Covenant Israel. That equality "in Christ" is revealed to include male, female, children and even servants. The mystery hidden for ages is now revealed in Christ is the bringing in one all things in Christ. One in Christ would be useful as a small group study that will not overwhelm, but also will challenge the reader to think more deeply concerning unity in Christ. The author considers how the first century listener in the Roman province of Asia (modern day Turkey) would have heard and understood Paul's message. Laying that foundation, the modern reader is able to correctly apply its teaching to today's world.
