Dr. Patrick Traynor earned his Ph.D. degree in Educational Administration at the University of California, Riverside. In his over 15 years of experience in the field of education, Dr. Traynor has been a director of language support services, middle school principal, elementary school principal, middle school assistant principal, elementary vice principal, high school science teacher, elementary school teacher, and Cub Scout master and den leader. He is currently director of assessment and evaluation in Colton Joint Unified School District in San Bernardino County, California. He has been published in the areas of classroom management and instructional technology in educational journals including Education, Journal of Instructional Psychology, Learning and Leading with Technology, and Education California (EdCal).

His article, "A Scientific Evaluation of Five Classroom Order Strategies" won the Special Merit Award from the journal, Education, in 2002.
