Victoria Thompson, MS, NCC, LCMHC-A is a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate, a professional school counselor, and founder of her newly established private practice, VicNikolSpeaks: Counseling and Wellness, PLLC. Victoria obtained her Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services and Master of Science in Counselor Education, both from East Carolina University. Victoria has also obtained her clinical trauma professional certification and behavior specialist certificate. Victoria is the mother of one angel baby, Ky'Mere Gray, who took on his angel wings at the young age of 3 years old. Experiencing life through personal experiences, all while growing professionally, Victoria knew she always wanted to help people by inspiring, motivating, uplifting, and educating them through life's challenges. "You may not control what's happening, but you can control how you heal from it. Everything that was meant to destroy you have built you. A strong foundation is key.
How we choose to allow life experiences to build us is up to us. It's time to grow. We can no longer allow life to keep us stuck. Allow yourself to weed out the garden and plant a beautiful, healthy lifestyle that allows you to blossom. I believe that we are called to have a life full of abundance, life, peace, and joy!" It's time to grow towards being a better you. Despite Victoria's past with trauma such as intimate partner violence, teenage pregnancy, raising a son with special needs, relational heartbreak, and surviving a head-on collision, God has kept Victoria in the right peace of mind and has allowed her to be healed mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Victoria has taken all that life has given her to encourage and inspire someone else through their own challenges of life. Oftentimes, our life story is to help someone else through theirs.
