Dr. Thompson is an author, a producer, an actress and a musician, who began playing piano at the age of 4, as her Saturday baby sitters sang to her. Dr. Thompson spent 24 combined years as a director of Music & Arts, Sunday School and Youth Ministries at her home church.  While completing her doctoral dissertation on Globalization and it's impact on music marketing and distribution (2007), Thompson was invited to teach & manage the Music Business Program at Georgia State University's School of Music (2006 - 2008).  A Dramatist Guild member since 2011, and the CEO of a non profit production company, this year Dr. Thompson celebrates 18 years as a music publisher with 5 albums and 5 theatrical productions, and the Walls sitcom to her IMDB credit. Dr.
