Rev. Maurice D. Taylor currently serves as the Youth Pastor at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, under the leadership of Pastor W. James Favorite. There he oversees the Children and Youth Ministry Programs. Rev. Taylor leads youth church on Sundays and bible study each Wednesday. He began preaching at the age of 20; preached his first sermon on July 25th, 1999.


From that time on, God has been using him to preach in Churches from all walks of life!He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a minor in Biology from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana. There he served as the president of the Pre-Alumni Council, Campus Ministry Speaker and a member of the Xavier University of Louisiana Theologians Organization. He received his Master's Degree in Religious Studies/Theology from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After completing his Master's Degree, he went back to his alma mater and served as a Theology Professor for 2 semesters; becoming the youngest Theology faculty member in the school's history. He has been blessed to not only teach theology, but also worked as a Pharmacy Technician Instructor for many years. Currently, Rev. Taylor is pursuing his Doctorate of Theology from Cornerstone Theology Seminary, based in Orlando, FL. He is the self-published author of The Demise of the Black Race, The Heavenly Treasure Box, and Silent Words.


In addition, he works as a Placement Verification Advisor at Ultimate Medical Academy in Tampa, Florida. Rev. Taylor has been blessed with many opportunities sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through preaching, lecturing, and motivational speeches. He lives by the motto: "Simply trying to be all that God wants me to be.".
