Eric Tackett is a former law enforcement officer and major crimes investigator, most recently serving as Director of Operations for Eric Tackett & Associates, a full-service investigative agency specializing in suspect claims and organized fraud rings. Mr. Tackett's diverse investigative experience spans more than three decades, with as many years as a professional instructor and training officer.Mr. Tackett has authored numerous articles about highly specialized investigative techniques, which have been published in national and international magazines. In addition, Tackett has published a number of books and training manuals on investigative subject matter.Mr. Tackett also serves as the Director of Training for the California Investigative Academy and, in that capacity, has developed and implemented advanced protocols and courses of training in specialized fields of investigation and the forensic sciences currently in use by law enforcement agencies, insurance company special investigative units (SIU) and private investigators, throughout the United States and the world.

Mr. Tackett's past students include claims and SIU personnel from virtually every major carrier in California, as well as law enforcement investigators throughout the state, including the California Department of Insurance.
