After graduating she worked at Joonang Newspaper as a journalist. She currently works for the broadcasting company JTBC as a reporter and journalist. She mainly contributes articles for the Politics and International News sections, and she is the head of the Social Issues and Local News sections. Her favourite part of being a reporter is broadcasting the intense scenes of politics, or talking about the stories of the underprivileged, such as part-time workers, women and disabled people. As a journalist, she believes it is worthwhile to write important news and deliver stories about society as a whole, but at the weekends she likes to read soft novels or essays and watch talk shows or TV dramas. She is energised by watching spectacular performances by K-POP stars such as BTS and Super Junior.
She loves reading and writing, and is particularly interested in the ways other people think. She lives with her husband, who is also a journalist, and their two children. As a working mum, she enjoys staying active in both her home and work lives.
